Description: The BriteCloud 55-T is an expendable decoy designed to protect military transport aircraft from advanced radar-guided missile. The previous versions of the BriteCloud were tailored for fighter aircraft. The new protection system is especially well suited for the C-27J Spartan, C-130 Hercules, A400M and KC-390 large military transport aircraft. The missile countermeasures also include miniaturized radio-frequency (RF) active jamming generating a ghost signal to divert the incoming missile. The 55-T focuses on providing a better jamming signal in order to protect large aircraft. The BriteCloud 55-T 55mm diameter expendable decoy system was unveiled in early June 2018 and is expected to be operational within 2019.
