Description: The EL/L-8385 Integrated UAV SM (Support Measures)/ELINT (Electronic Intelligence) System (IUELIS) has been developed by IAI to equip Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) operating in modern dense radar environments and performing long-range, high endurance Electronic Support Measures (ESM) and ELINT missions. The system's purpose is to search, intercept, measure, locate, analyze, classify and monitor ground, airborne and naval radar transmissions characterized by high mobility, short duration, signals and frequent changes in signal parameters. IAI unveiled the EL/L-8385 system during the Euronaval exhibition, France, in October 2010.

The EL/L-8385 is designed to disseminate intelligence reports, including a real-time Electronic Order of Battle (EOB), and provide tactical and strategic intelligence that can be seamlessly integrated in the nation's intelligence database. It features modular architecture, lightweight design, compact size, low power consumption and flexible interfaces of the ESM/ELINT UAV payload. It can be integrated in a variety of small and medium-sized UAVs carrying out tactical and strategic ELINT missions with data collection and analysis. The system is suitable for platforms ranging from tactical to Medium Altitude Long-Endurance (MALE)/ High Altitude Long-Endurance (HALE) airborne systems.
