Description: The US Air Force's Eagle Passive Active Warning Survivability System (EPAWSS) is an electronic warfare suite aimed at extending the service life of the F-15 aircraft through 2040 and beyond. The EPAWSS will replace the Tactical Electronic Warfare System (TEWS) on more than 400 F-15E and F-15C aircraft. The new electronic warfare suite is intended to better protect against a variety of emerging threats. The $4 billion EPAWSS contract was awarded to Boeing on October 1, 2015.
