Description: The Light Marine Air Defense Integrated System (LMADIS) is an electronic warfare (EW) system developed to counter unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). The system was designed for integration onto light tactical vehicles but can be deployed onboard surface warships. The LMADIS system consists of four cellular antennas in a circular arrangement to provide 360-degree coverage along with a video camera. The system works by detecting a drone using radar and electro-optical camera and then jams the drone communications disabling the control from a remote operator. The system has been adopted by the US Marine Corps and US Navy.
