Description: The LSOEP is a laser optical electronic jamming station is intended to protect passengers and transport planes, helicopters, commercial and frontline planes from air-to-air (AAM) and surface-to-air missiles (SAM) fitted with infrared homing heads. The LSOEP laser jamming system weighs 100-150 kilogram and can be placed within the aircraft's fuselage or on external stations and also includes missile launch warners. The multispectral solid-state or gas laser system has an effective range of 500 to 5,000 meters while covering 360-degree in azimuth and 90-degree in elevation. The system design guarantees the neutralization of at least two incoming missiles. The LSOEP jamming laser was developed as a component of the modular President-S missile defense system by the KRET corporation.
