Description: The US Navy Next Generation Jammer Low Band (NGJ-LB) is a potential replacement for the ALQ-99 jammer low band pods deployed onboard the EA-18G Growler electronic attack aircraft. The new jamming system is expected to provide greater electronic attack capabilities in the lower frequency bands of the electromagnetic spectrum against modern threats. Lockheed Martin and Cobham are the contractors responsible for the NGJ-LB jammer development under a team announced in April 2018.
