Description: The SAGE is a small and compact electronic warfare (EW) surveillance system developed by Leonardo for integration onto fixed-wing aircraft and drones. The SAGE system features an electronic intelligence (ELINT) payload with a 360-degree coverage acting as a radar warning receiver (RWR). It provides detection, identification and geo-location of radio-frequency (RF) signals such as fire control radars. The SAGE has been ordered by the South Korean Navy, Brazilian Navy and Indonesian Air Force. In July 2018, Leonardo and General Atomics reached an agreement for the integration of SAGE payload using an external pod into the MQ-9B unmanned aircraft.
