Description: The SAP active radio-interference station is intended to protect fixed- and rotary-wing aircraft against radar-guided air-to-air and surface-to-air missiles. The SAP creates radio-electronic interference in a given direction and wavelength suppressing radar-based systems at the stages of detection, support, guidance and attack. It provides a coverage of 120-degree in azimuth and 60-degree in elevation working in the G and J bands. The SAP jammer station weighs 51.5 kilogram and can neutralize four targets simultaneously. This protection system was developed as a component of the modular President-S missile defense system by the KRET corporation.
