Description: The Rafael SpotLite-M is a mobile, high-accuracy, day/night, electro-optical sensor package designed for detection, location, investigation and neutralization of hostile fire sources such as small arms, RPGs (rocket propelled grenades) and anti-tank missiles while on-the-move. It is a mobile version of SpotLite-P/SpotLite Mk2 suitable for installation on ground vehicles but also suitable for use on sea-based and airborne platforms. The SpotLite-M vehicle-mounted sensor suite comprises GPS receptor, FLIR camera, laser rangefinder and marker and CCD-TV camera along with an electronic processing unit. The system features simultaneous multi-target detection and low rate of false alarms and is effective at ranges of 1,000 meters and above.

The first SpotLite-M prototype was projected by Rafael to be installed on a test vehicle by the end of 2007.
