Description: The Lockheed Martin Symphony Block 40 is a small, vehicle-mounted, open architecture counter-improvised explosive device (IED) system to address new and emerging threats. The system simultaneously jams selected or multiple electronic signals used to trigger a radio-controlled IED providing continuous coverage across the entire threat spectrum. More than 4,500 Block 10/20 variants were deployed successfully in Iraq and Afghanistan. The Symphony jamming system has been deployed mainly by the US Navy. The Block 40 variant was approved for use by US and coalition forces in July 2016.
