Description: Panzerfaust 3 is a recoil-less shoulder-launcher, man-portable anti-tank/anti-fortification weapon system for special operation forces urban warfare. It can destroy targets at ranges of up to 600 meters with the minimum launch distance below 20 meters which allow for firings from enclosures and fortifications. Dynamite Nobel Defence developed a variety of warheads to effectively defeat armored and fortified targets in different scenarios. Overall, Panzerfaust 3 weapon system comprises a reusable firing device and mission-specific warheads.

In February 2006 the United kingdom Ministry of Defence awarded Dynamit Nobel Defence a £40 million contract to deliver an anti-structure munition capable of defeating hardened structures such as bunkers and buildings. Under the terms of the five-year contract the new shoulder-launched weapon was expected to be declared with the British Army by the end of 2009. Potentially, Panzerfaust 3 or disposable weapons also produced by the German company would be the basis for the new weapon system.
