Description: The 9M528 is a 300mm artillery rocket projectile intended to defeat personnel, materiel and light armored vehicles as well as command post, communication centers and military facilities from ranges of up to 90 kilometers. The 9M528 is equipped with a 243-kg High Explosive (HE) fragmentation warhead. The rocket has been deployed within the Smerch-M long-range artillery system.
