Description: The LIMAWS(G) is an artillery system sponsored by the UK Ministry of Defense (MoD) based upon revolutionary M777 155mm howitzer developed for the US Army and the US Marine Corps. In addition to the M777 cannon, the LIMAWS(G) uses an 8x6 special purpose vehicle developed by Supacat. As of September 2005, the development program has assessed the weapon system enhanced mobility and has conducted over 350 rounds firings.

The weapon system receives heritage from Supacat 800 High Mobility Truck (HMT) family which has been selected as universal platform for a number of roles in the British Army. Transportability onto C-130 aircraft and amphibious craft has also been demonstrated. A fully equipped LIMAWS(G) weapon system can carry as many as 70 rounds ready to be fired.
