Description: M110 is a massive 203mm caliber self-propelled howitzer utilizing a tracked chassis. It is powered by a diesel engine and requires a crew of 12. Its 203mm cannon has a maximum range of 30,000 meters. M110s were widely deployed during Vietnam. In the 1990s the US Army retired its approximately 1,000 M110 howitzers leaving M109 as the only self-propelled howitzer in the Army's artillery units. It has been sold to international customers which continue operating this artillery system.
