Description: The advanced Project 1L277 is a short-range, solid-state, ground surveillance radar. It is designed to perform day/night and all-weather location of moving and stationary targets such as personnel and vehicles. They feature automatic transmission of data to the user and can be used to adjust artillery fire. The 1L277 radar can track up to 20 targets and is capable of automatic moving target recognition. Russian firm Almaz-Antey announced the existence and development work of this advanced battlefield surveillance radar in February 2013.
