Description: The BAE Systems 360 Multifunction Vehicle Protection (MVP) sensor provides improved visibility, situational awareness, threat warning and countermeasures in order to protect armored vehicles incoming threats such as anti-tank guided missiles (ATGM). The 360 MVP sensor comprises four high definition multifunction cameras that detect and track threats ranging from ground troops, small arms fire, unmanned air vehicles (UAVs), improvised explosive devices (IEDs) and missiles. The sensor has been designed to operate day/night in all weather conditions with man-made battlefield obscurants such as dust, fog and smoke. BAE Systems launched the new 360 MVP electro-optical warning and situational awareness sensor for armored vehicles in April 2019.
