Description: The Airborne Cueing and Exploitation System Hyperspectral (ACES HY) is an advanced infrared sensor developed by Raytheon for the United States Air Force (USAF). This tactical sensor is intended to identify targets based on their spectral characteristics. Raytheon leads team members L3 Integrated Optical Systems and Space Computer Corporation. In September 2010, Raytheon and the USAF successfully completed flight testing of ACES HY on a manned Twin Otter aircraft used as a surrogate for the MQ-1 Predator unmanned system. In June 2011, Raytheon received the first production contract for ACES HY from the USAF.
