Description: The Arabel is a 3D, multi-function, radar system associated with the anti-air/anti-missile defense system SAAM installed onboard several French Navy ships. It offers 360-degree coverage in azimuth and 90-degree in elevation. It tracks up to 130 targets while provides guidance to in-flight missiles. It allows simultaneous engagements of different types of missiles. Arabel operates seamlessly in ECM environments.

The Arabel radar system has been installed on the Charles de Gaulle aircraft carrier and La Fayette-class frigates.
