Due to classified nature of ICNI and Raptor weapon system, its sophisticated features remain undisclosed.

In August 2005, Northrop-Grumman made public that it was working on the CNI avionics to enhance its network-centric warfare capabilities for the next-generation F/A-22 weapon system. The new capability will allow to link communications, sensors and weapon systems in an interconnected grid that will be available for warfighters, decision makers and support personnel.
