Description: The OPS-24N-1 is a full coverage 360-degree targeting and surveillance camera developed by Shvabe for integration on rotary-wing aircraft such as the Mi-35M and Mi-8AMTSh. The OPS-24N-1 optical-electronic camera can see through fog, smoke and dust storms in all weather conditions. The system consists of four stabilized, short-wave infrared cameras delivering imagery of targets several kilometers way. The information is displayed in four cockpit screens. The OPS-24N-1 sensor development was based upon the lessons learned during the conflict in Syria between 2015 and 2016. The Russian Minisry of Defense ordered the new camera for Mi-35M and Mi-8AMTSh helicopters in September 2016.
