Description: The Second Sight MS is an infrared sensor system designed to detect toxic gas and chemical warfare agents from ranges of up to 5 kilometers. The tripod mounted sensor system weighs 22.5 pounds and only takes 10 seconds to detect dangerous agents and/or toxic gases. The Second Sight MS has been designed to be carried by dismounted troops or mounted on tactical vehicles. The Australian Defence Forces (ADF) ordered the Second Sight MS sensor system in May 2017.
