Description: The BAe Systems' Titan 385 is a surveillance/observation, multi-sensor turret developed for integration into both fixed and rotary-wing aircraft. It can perform forward looking infrared surveillance/observation and target identification installing optional payload elements. The Titan 385 turret has been developed as the Multi Sensor Turret (MST) successor used on Chinook, Merlin and Lynx helicopters. It incorporates a CCD-TV sensor and an infrared thermal imaging system.

The UK MoD ordered the Titan 385 for its C-130 Hercules cargo/transport aircraft. On 21 July 2004, the German Navy ordered the Titan 385 turret to be integrated into its Super Lynx rotary wing aircraft.
