Description: The US Navy's Multi-Function Electronic Warfare (MFEW) is the next generation surface ship electronic warfare system being developed by Northrop Grumman for integration aboard the DDG-1000 class destroyers and the CVN-21 class aircraft carriers. The US Navy is expected to begin testing with the new advanced capabilities provided by MFEW in the summer 2008.
