Description: The AN/SPS-73 is a short range, 2D, surveillance and navigation radar system, which can be configured for ship or land-based applications. Its radars, processors and displays combine COTS products an specialized technologies to create powerful navigational awareness. The SPS-73 is suitable for military and civil applications on small and large ships.

The SPS-73 is replacing the SPS-64 and SPS-67 as navigational radar on the US navy and Coast Guard ships and patrol craft.
