Description: The FCS-3 is an anti-aircraft active phased array fire control radar developed for the Japan Marine Self Defense Force (JMSDF) surface ships. The FCS-3 was provided to Murasame- and Takanami-class destroyers. An enhanced version of FCS-3 is expected to be integrated onto a new class of destroyers ordered by the JMSDF with the lead ship to be commissioned in 2011.
