Description: The Hydra sonar system 135/137 was developed by Saab Security and Defence Solutions and Dynamics for use on the Swedish Navy's Gavle and Visby class corvettes. In late September 2011, the Swedish Defense Materiel Administration (FMV) awarded Saab a contract for the upgrade the hardware of the sonar system and its related combat management system through 2014.
