The Royal Navy awarded Thales UK a £52 million ($93 million) contract for development and production of 8 Sonar 2193 with Nautis 3 command and control system to be integrated on eight Hunt class countermeasures vessels. The first system achieved operational capability aboard HMS Hurworth on 17 March 2004, with the last system integration scheduled for April 2005.
