Description: Sonar 2046 is a passive towed sonar array introduced in the 1980s and used by the Royal Navy on its nuclear attack submarine (SSN) fleet. It was also provided to the conventionally-powered Upholder (Type 2400) or Victoria class submarines operated by the Canadian Navy.
