Description: The Korshun is a medium-range, multi-purpose unmanned rotorcraft utilizing a two co-axial main rotor design being developed by Russian Helicopters. It is equipped with a modular payload system to conduct a wide variety of missions: environmental monitoring, aerial patrol and security, transporting cargo, ecological monitoring, meteorological tasks, providing communication in hard-to-reach areas. The unmanned rotorcraft weighs 500 kg and has maximum range of 300 kilometers carrying a 150 kg payload. Korshun was unveiled in late June 2010 at the fourth International Forum and Exhibition Unmanned Multipurpose Vehicle Systems (UVS-TECH 2010) in Zhukovsky, Russia.
