The Indian Navy will take delivery of eight aircraft between 2013 and 2015. They will carry out anti-submarine warfare missions; search and rescue; maritime interdiction; and long-range intelligence, surveillance, target acquisition and reconnaissance. In July 2015, India ordered four additional aircraft.
