Description: The Scouting and Hunting Autonomous Rotor Craft (SHARC) is an innovative small unmanned rotorcraft demonstrator developed by EADS to perform intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) missions. The SHARC features a two three-blade coaxial counter-rotating rotor sets which suppress the need for a tail rotor and a four-point landing gear. The rotorcraft tail and airframe design provide a certain resemblance with a shark's shape.
