Description: 5V28 is a long range, medium to high altitude surface-to-air missile (SAM) utilized on the S-200/SA-5 Gammon air defense system. 5V28 has a minimum range of 60 kilometers due to rocket boosters and a maximum range of 300 km flying at Mach 4. It was designed to intercept aircraft flying at up to 30,000 meters of altitude.
