Description: IAI Ranger is a tactical Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) system developed to provide surveillance, reconnaissance and target acquisition to military forces. Its design and performance was optimized for the European theater of operations. Launch operation gets done using an hydraulic catapults and for landing can use an emergency parachute or trying a short landing on snow or grass. Its payload include TV and Infrared sensors. The Ranger is manufactured in partnership between IAI, RUAG Aerospace and Oerlikon-Contraves.
