Description: AAI Corporation Shadow 600 is based on the 1991 Gulf War battlefield experience gained during deployment of AAI's Pioneer UAV by the US Navy. The key elements introduced by AAI Corporation on the Shadow 600 are a 12 to 14 flight endurance and a 91-lb payload. In addition, this aircraft also features a more powerful high-performance 52-hp engine, digital avionics and autopilot, wheel brakes, ruggedized nosewheel assemblies, and lithium long-life batteries. The air vehicle equipped with an airborne videotape recorder has been designated to accommodate multiple payloads.

Shadow 600 airframe is manufactured to ISO 9001 standards and features more than 85 percent of composite material such as graphite/epoxy in wing panels. Launch and recovery operations are carried out by multiple methods. The combat-proven Shadow 600 UAV has been deployed with United States allied nations in diverse climate and terrain conditions.
