Description: The 91N6E, also known as Big Bird, is a long-range air surveillance radar intended to provide target acquisition and battle management tracking the airborne threats. The radar system lies on a 12x12 high mobility articulated truck system and has a maximum detection range of 600 kilometers traking up to 300 airborne targets. The 91N6E radar system was developed by Almaz-Antey Concern as part of the S-400 air defense system entering into service on April 28, 2007. Each S-400 battalion includes at least one 91N6E radar system.
