Description: The Mercedes-Benz Actros is a family of heavy-duty trucks available in 4x4, 6x6 and 8x8 chassis configurations as well as a tractor. These trucks can be fitted with six- and eight-cylinder (V6 and V8) engines offering an output power ranging from 235 KW to 448 KW. A variety of cabs in large, medium and small sizes is provided at the customer requests. For enhanced survivability during operations in combat zones or peacekeeping missions the truck can be armored achieving unprecedented levels of protection.

The Actros Tractor is a 6x6 33-ton class tractor vehicle capable of moving a max gross train weight of 110 tons at speeds of 85 kilometers per hour. It is also available in 8x8 chassis configuration and fitted with an armored cab. The tiltable all steel welded cab with shock absorbers is designed for a crew of four-man. The Actros Tractor is powered by an impressive water-cooled OM 502 LA V8 cylinder Euro 5 direct injection turbocharged and intercooler diesel engine developing 448 KW (609-hp) of output power.
