The vehicle's steel plate armor provides ballistic protection against impact of 7.62mm caliber projectiles. The Barracuda can transport a 12-man crew at maximum speed of 100 kph on road over ranges of 1,000+ kilometers and climb a 60 percent gradient. Using run-falte tire can run 70 kilomters at 30 kilometers per hour. It is equipped with a roof-mounted small-caliber weapon station, CCTV and a dozer system.
