Description: The Acmat Bastion is a 4x4 flexible, high mobility, armored variant of the VLRA 2 military truck and is intended for a variety of military and law enforcement missions. The 12-ton Bastion 4x4 armored vehicle can be powered by diesel engines developing between 240 to 320 horsepower. The vehicle family feature STANAG 4569 ballistic and mine blast protection, a Central Tyre Inflation System (CTIS) and a payload between 2-3 tons. The Bastion PATSAS is a reconnaissance and assault version intended for special operation forces. It is also suitable for border surveillance, reconnaissance, search and rescue and interception. The vehicle can be fitted with up to three 7.62mm machine guns. The Bastion APC is a high mobility armored personnel carrier powered by 320-hp diesel engine carrying a payload of 2-3 tons. It is also suitable for border protection, law enforcement and ambulance. The APC version is provided with a roof-mounted weapon station or armored cupola. The Bastion Security is a law enforcement version.
