Description: The Eagle IV is a lightweight, 4x4 wheeled armored vehicle developed by MOWAG AG to carry out a wide range of military missions such as surveillance, reconnaissance, command or military police tasks. It is based on MOWAG Duro II armored vehicle chassis technology which gives Eagle IV high mobility in both off- and on-road conditions.

In December 2005 the Danish Army Materiel Command awarded MOWAG GmbH a $38 million contract for Eagle IV armored patrol vehicles. Danish Eagle IV vehicles were set to be outfitted with an Overhead Weapon Station, Communication and Battle Management systems. Vehicle deliveries were scheduled to start in August 2006.
