Description: Sabiex Iguana FV 4, also known as LAWV (Light Armored Wheeled Vehicle) Iguana, is a 4x4 amphibious armored vehicle suitable for a wide range of tactical missions. Its armor and hull design provides crew protection against small arms fire (full coverage against 7.62mm ammunition impacts) and mine blasts. High mobility on road and off road is achieved through a multi-link hydro-pneumatic suspension. Equipped with a Daimler-Chrysler turbo-diesel Intercooled engine rated at 215-hp gives a top speed of 108 kph.

A fully equipped Iguana carrying the two-man crew and six passengers weighs between 8,500 and 10,000 kg. Due to its versatility the vehicle can be configured to suit a wide range of applications. Its steel-made hull can provide additional protection through add-on armor to withstand 14.5mm ammunition ballistic impacts. Iguana weapon options include from a 7.62mm roof-mounted machine gun to missile systems as well as other overhead weapon stations.
