Description: The Renault MRAP is a 6x6, all-terrain, medium armored troops transport and command post vehicle. The MRAP derives from Renault's Sherpa 6x6 truck system. Powered by a 6-cylinder, 320-hp, Euro 4/5 diesel engine can carry 12-man or a 6.7-ton payload over road surfaces or the most challenging terrain over 850 kilometers without refueling. The vehicle's power train enables a maximum speed of 90 kph. The MRAP provides protection against ballistic threats, Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) and mines. Moreover, it can be equipped with a roof-mounted remote weapon station using a 7.62mm machine gun.
