Description: The Nimr is a HMMWV-style 4x4 all-terrain tactical vehicle manufactured in Jordan by Advanced Industries of Arabia, a Bin Jabr Group company. The Nimr vehicle has been designed to carry out military, police and peacekeeping missions in the Middle East area thanks to a cooling system that allows the vehicle to withstand the desert climate with temperatures ranging from -25 to 55 Celsius. The vehicle also features composite ceramic armor and central tire inflation system. The vehicle is based on a flexible modular concept to provide support for a wide range of missions. The Nimr is also available on a 6x6 wheeled chassis.

Currently, the Nimr vehicle is available as: troop carrier, armored vehicle, station wagon and shelter carrier. All models are powered by a Cummins EUSB 190 diesel engine developing 146 Kw of power which provides a top speed of 140 kph on road and a cruising range of 700 km. The vehicle has a seating capacity for 2 + 6 passengers that can vary depending on the vehicle version. The vehicle weight and payload specifications may vary depending on the variant.

Bin Jabr Group along with MBDA and Rheinmetall Defence Electronics have developed the Nimrad (Nimr Air Defense) and Nimrat (Nimr Anti-Tank) anti-armor or anti-bunker variant based on the Nimr 4x4 vehicle. Nimrad is equipped with four Mistral surface-to-air missiles with another four munitions inside the vehicle. Nimrat can be equipped whether with Milan ER or Milan 3 anti-tank missiles with four missiles ready-to-fire and an additional four inside the vehicle.
