Description: The VLRA (Vehicule de Liaison de Reconnaissance et d'Appui / Liaison, Reconnaissance and Support Vehicle) 6x6 is a family of all wheel drive military trucks developed by ACMAT and capable of carrying payloads ranging from 4-ton to 6-ton. The VLRA 6x6 is available in the following roles: tactical vehicles (TPK 640 SM3, TPK 640 CTL, TPK 641 VPC and TPK 650 SH/STL); light armored wheeled vehicles (TPK 650 BL); logistic vehicle (TPK 635 SL7, TPK 640 WRT and TPK 641 GBS); decontamination vehicle (TPK 640 CSD); and semi trailer tractors (TPK 635 TSR). The semi trailer tractors are capable of towing eight tons to ten tons.

The VLRA 6x6 as multipurpose tactical vehicle can carry a load of 5.6-ton over ranges of 600 km to 1,200 km depending on the load with a single 210-l fuel tank. The vehicle's cab accommodates a three-man crew. The VLRA 6x6 is powered by a 6 cylinder Perkins diesel engine rated at 145-hp. VLRA vehicles are air transportable by means of tactical transport aircraft such as C-130 Hercules and C-160 Transall. The TPK 650 BL features a new forward-cab design also provided to VLRB and TPK 420 BL4.
