Description: The VLRB TCM 420 BL6 is a 4x4 armored liaison and reconnaissance vehicle featuring outstanding armor protection over VLRA 4x4 vehicles. ACMAT developed the VLRB based on the VLRA 4x4. The vehicle's armor can withstand the impact of a 7.62mm ballistic projectile at 30 meters (STANAG protection level 1). With a 500 kg add-on armor the VLRB can achieve STANAG protection level 2. It is powered by a 4 cylinder 167-hp Cummins turbo inter cooler Euro 3 engine and has a maximum range of 800 km with a single 200-liter anti-explosion sealed fuel tank. The VLRB vehicle is air transportable by means of tactical transport aircraft such as C-130 Hercules (2xVLRB) and C-160 Transall (1xVLRB).
