Description: The Fiat VM 90P (Protetto/Protected) is a protected tactical vehicle introduced by the Italian Army as an interim solution prior to the entry into service of the Puma 4x4 and 6x6 light armored vehicles. The VM 90P can transport up to six passengers besides the driver. The Italian Army deployed successfully this transport/utility vehicle during peacekeeping missions in Somalia and the Balkans. The Italian Army has also deployed the VM 90 as an unprotected tactical vehicle called Torpedo and as an ambulance vehicle based on the same 4x4 wheeled chassis.
