Description:
The Panhard VPS is a 4x4 patrol vehicle based on a Mercedes G chassis. In 2005, the French Defense Procurement Agency (DGA) awarded a contract for the procurement of 51 vehicles for the Special Operations Command. The VPS features longer range and compatibility with extreme climatic conditions. An armored floor provides anti-landmine protection to the crew. The vehicle is fitted with a variety of small caliber machine guns.
