Description: The Mark 50 torpedo is an advanced lightweight, self-propelled guided underwater projectile, designed to attack faster, deeper-diving and sophisticated submarines. The Mark 50 will eventually replace the Mark 46 as the US Navy lightweight torpedo. The Mark 50 can be launched from surface ships' torpedo tubes and any aircraft and helicopter.
