Description: M114 is a venerable 155mm towed howitzer introduced in 1942 and compliant with NATO standards. It saw combat in the 20th century during World War II, and the wars in Korea and Vietnam. Its cannon features a maximum range of 14,600 meters. It was procured by the United States and many international customers. The former Yugoslavia produced this weapon under M65 designation. In the 1980s M114s were replaced in the United States Armed Forces by the M198 howitzer. Currently, it remains operational with international operators.
