Description: BMP-2 is an improved version of BMP-1 fitted with a new turret which features a 30mm gun along with an anti-armor missile launcher. The 30mm cannon is intended to engage ground targets, and rotary- and fixed-wing aircraft. BMP-2 retains the crew of three-man but accommodates seven-infantryman instead of eight in the BMP-1. It also features two rear doors as BMP-1 leverage. BMP-2 was deployed in Afghanistan.
