Description: CVR-T (Combat Vehicle Reconnaissance - Tracked) is a family of full tracked chassis, lightweight armored vehicles intended to fulfill a broad spectrum of roles. It was fielded by the British Army in the 1970s. CVR-T variants typically weigh between 8,000 and 9,000 kg, have a three-man crew and a top speed of 80 kilometers per hour. It is powered by a Jaguar gasoline engine providing 190-hp of power. In addition, these highly mobile vehicles are amphibious and air-transportable. The British Army deployed CVR-Ts during the Gulf War (1990-1991). CVR-Ts have been sold to international customers.

Sultan is a command and control (C2) variant which entered service in 1972. Striker is a variant equipped with 10 wire-guided Swingfire anti-armor missiles. Spartan is a 6-man crew variant that can be equipped alternatively with Javelin air-to-surface missiles, mortar or engineer command vehicles. Scimitar is a reconnaissance vehicle fitted with a 30mm cannon. Samson is a recovery vehicle for all CVR-Ts. Samaritan is an armored ambulance that accommodates up to 6 casualties in addition to a crew of two-man. Sabre is a reconnaissance vehicle similar to Scimitar but fitted with a low profile turret. Sabre's turret is equipped with a 30mm cannon. It entered service in 1995.

Shielder is a modified Stormer troops transport vehicle capable of deploying an anti-tank barrier system against main battle tanks and armored vehicles. The barrier system comprises a suite of programmable (for self-destruct) anti-tank munitions providing perimeter defense quickly and effectively. The munitions homed in modular dispensers are thrown to the rear and either side off the vehicle. ATK supplies the barrier system for the Shielder engineer vehicle.
